How the Shopify integration works

A merchant authorizes the ProveedorPro app through Shopify and associates the correct store with a ProveedorPro account. The connection keeps Shopify as the storefront and commerce record while ProveedorPro coordinates the sourcing and fulfillment workflow behind it.

Source and publish products

Choose a catalog product or request a quote for a product you already sell. Review the exact product, images, description, pricing, options, variants, weight, packaging, and expected route before publishing the prepared listing to Shopify.

Send store orders into fulfillment

When a customer places a paid order, Shopify can send the customer, delivery address, line items, quantities, selected variants, totals, and currency needed for processing. ProveedorPro then coordinates supplier work and direct-to-customer fulfillment from China through supported private shipping lines.

Return tracking to Shopify

When shipment tracking becomes available, ProveedorPro updates the matching Shopify fulfillment with the tracking number, carrier, and tracking link. Repeated shipment updates are applied to the existing fulfillment record instead of creating duplicate fulfillments.

Keep products and variants mapped

Every color, size, capacity, plug, or kit should map to an identifiable variant. Review the SKU, image, cost, weight, and availability before publishing or updating a product. “Blue” becomes surprisingly philosophical when the supplier has three shades and no one wrote down which one sold.

Validate the complete workflow

Before scaling advertising, test the connection with a low-risk product and paid order. Confirm product updates, order intake, the correct item and variant, fulfillment, tracking synchronization, and repeated-update behavior.

Shopify integration questions

Does ProveedorPro replace Shopify?

No. Shopify remains the merchant’s storefront, checkout, and commerce record. ProveedorPro connects sourcing, products, order fulfillment, and tracking.

Can ProveedorPro publish products to Shopify?

The integration can publish prepared products and mapped variants. Merchants should review the product, media, description, SKU, pricing, weight, and availability before publishing.

How are Shopify orders sent to ProveedorPro?

Connected store orders can provide the customer, delivery address, items, quantities, selected variants, totals, and currency required for fulfillment processing.

Does tracking synchronize back to Shopify?

Yes. When tracking becomes available, ProveedorPro can update the matching Shopify fulfillment with the carrier, tracking number, and tracking link.

Will repeated updates create duplicate fulfillments?

The tested workflow applies repeated tracking updates to the existing matching fulfillment rather than creating a second fulfillment record.

Should I test the connection before scaling?

Yes. Run a low-risk end-to-end order to verify the product, variant, order intake, fulfillment, tracking, and exception workflow before increasing volume.
